What happend when user session gets terminated without releasing the lock ?

When user session gets terminated without releasing the locks, PMON(Process Monitor) background process releases the locks held on the objects. PMON continuously monitors all the user processes.

In case of Shared Server Architecture, PMON restarts the dead dispatches.
